Pre-Ballet & Beginning Ballet

starting at age 3
Creative activities enhance the development of fine and gross motor skills. Instruction is focused on balance and coordination. Students will be introduced to basic ballet fundamentals including body alignment, vocabulary, and basic positions of the feet and arms.

Advanced Ballet

starting at age 12
Class work continues to increase in complexity during barre, center work, and progressions. As students approach the pre-professional stage, instruction centers on injury prevention, classroom and performance etiquette, musicality, and technique.

Jazz I and Jazz II

starting at age 6
Students are introduced to basic jazz technique including jazz positions, turns, jumps, and leaps. Students will also learn center and locomotor progressions as well as proper stretching techniques to enhance strength and flexibility.

Hip-Hop

starting at age 6
High energy dance instruction will introduce students to the basics of hip-hop including the latest hip-hop trends and break dancing moves. All movement will be modest and age appropriate. All music will be free of questionable lyrics.

Intermediate Ballet

starting at age 7
Instruction will be focused on more intermediate ballet technique. Students will move through barre, center work, and progressions which include basic turns, jumps, and leaps.

Pointe

by audition only
Instruction focuses on proper technique for pointe work with an emphasis on injury prevention. Students first strengthen their bodies with barre work and then later move to center work when they are strong in both body and technique.

Jazz III - V

starting at age 10
In these classes, students will focus on dance conditioning and alignment while improving jazz technique. For serious dancers, it is recommended, but not required, to take ballet classes to complement jazz training.

Tap

starting at age 7
Instruction will focus on tap fundamentals including basic tap steps, wings, cramp rolls, and pull backs. No previous dance experience is required. More advanced students will be given more advanced steps to match their skill levels.
